POW! wants our world to be a place where no student in any school
knows little-to-nothing about poetry or cries "Ugh!"
when the word is mentioned.

The best working remedy we have discovered:
meet a poet in the flesh,
hear the poet's words from the poet's own mouth,
have an opportunity to ask the poet questions and
receive real responses that convey to young people a sense
of the passion that forms the deep sub-text for those answers.

That is what the POW! Poets In The Schools offers to students
at the primary and secondary level in all school boards.
